Storage period (general information and criteria):

The duration of storage of personal data is based on the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and - if applicable - also on the basis of the respective legal storage period (e.g. commercial and tax retention periods).

When processing personal data on the basis of express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR, this data is stored until the person concerned withdraws his consent. If there are legal storage periods for data that are processed as part of legal or transactional obligations on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, this data is routinely deleted after expiry of the retention periods, provided that it is no longer necessary to fulfill or initiate a contract and/or there is no legitimate interest on our part in continuing to store it.

When processing personal data on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject exercises his right of objection in accordance with Article 21 (1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. When processing personal data for direct marketing purposes on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, this data is stored until the person concerned exercises his right of objection in accordance with Article 21 (2) GDPR.

Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this statement about specific processing situations, stored personal data will otherwise be deleted when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.

In the following privacy policy (DSE), we provide information about data processing in the social media channels we use.

2.1 Facebook:

If you follow the following link to our Facebook fan page, you agree that a) the following data will be transmitted to Meta: the link destination (fan page), your IP address, any existing cookies, possibly the last visited page (this page) and b) we can use the data provided to us by Meta as part of the “Page Insights” service to optimize our advertising measures on Facebook.

We are required to record your consent/confirmation. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. In this case, you will no longer visit our fan page.

You confirm that you are a member of the social network “Facebook”.

Yes, as a Facebook member on FanPage: https://de-de.facebook.com/Fidelislogisticsgmbh/

The Facebook fan page operated by us only serves the purpose of communicating in this convenient way with those users who are already members of the Facebook network. It is neither necessary nor recommended by us to become a member there in order to get in touch with us. We also communicate information or special offers such as competitions on other channels.

However, we do not restrict access to our Facebook fanpage through technical measures because we want to give you the opportunity to visit our fan page even if you are not logged in to Facebook.

As a member of the social network “Facebook”, you can therefore also follow us on our Facebook fan page. In doing so, the provider Meta processes personal data as part of the so-called “Insight” service and makes it available to us in summarized form (statistics). This can also take place outside the European Economic Area (EEA), but we cannot influence this.

The (technical) operator of Facebook services is MetaPlatforms, Inc. (“Meta”), 1 Meta Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA or its subsidiary, Meta Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland — in this text, “Meta” for short.

Together with Meta, we are “Joint Controllers” in accordance with Article 26 GDPR and have concluded an agreement with Meta (“Page Insights Supplement regarding the person responsible”, see https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum).Danach, Meta undertakes to fulfill all obligations under the GDPR with regard to the processing of insights data (including Articles 12 and 13 GDPR, Articles 15 to 22 GDPR and Articles 32 to 34 GDPR). Meta will also provide you with the essence of the agreement (the Site Insights Supplement) (see also Controller_Addendum). We have no influence on the amount of data processed by Meta, nor does meta tell us which specific personal data is processed and how, outside of the “information on page insights data”. As a member of Facebook, you have agreed to Meta processing of your personal data and may influence the scope of processing by making appropriate settings in your user profile on Facebook.

You must be aware that the use of this will result in various risks for you as a user. Facebook provides information about its privacy policy at: www.facebook.com/policy.php.

In addition to the scope of data collection (for example: “device information”), you will also find the address and other contact options, for example for requests for information. Your data, devices (content) and usage behavior are analyzed on Facebook. Cookies or comparable techniques or the storage of IP addresses are used for this purpose. The data is primarily used for advertising purposes and market research. Based on your user profile, you will receive advertising tailored to you within Facebook or on other sites that are able to use the techniques used by Facebook.

As a registered user of the site, this information is also used independently of the respective device. We can use the data provided to us by Meta as part of the “Page Insights” service, which we can evaluate on a non-personal basis, to optimize our advertising activities on Facebook based on your consent. For more details about this and your user/data subject rights on Facebook, please see Facebook's privacy policy at: www.facebook.com/policy.php.

Your rights, in particular in accordance with Article 15 GDPR, in connection with the use of our Facebook fan page:

In the Controller_Addendum, Meta has committed itself to fulfill all obligations under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR (right to: information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection as well as the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing). You can therefore exercise your rights (faster) directly with Meta. You can find more information about this on the Facebook fan page. If you contact us to exercise your rights, we will forward your request to Meta for seven days. Meta is committed to responding.

Insofar as we are still subject to information requirements thereafter, you will find the corresponding information in our privacy policy. It also explains how you can exercise your rights against us. We assume — but have no detailed knowledge of the extent of data processing by Meta, nor can we influence it — that Meta processes your personal data in a way that is justified by the user agreement (membership) with Meta or requires your consent (Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a) GDPR). We are unable to pre-check your consent if you have given your consent or send a declaration of consent to Metazu.

2.2 Instagram:

If you follow the following link to our Instagram fan page, you agree that a) the following data will be transmitted to Meta as a result: the link destination (fan page), your IP address, any cookies that may exist, possibly the last page visited (this page) and b) we can use the data provided to us by Meta as part of the “Page Insights” service to optimize our advertising measures on Instagram.

We are required to record your consent/confirmation. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. In this case, you will no longer visit our fan page.
